Looking for a kid baking kit or
I love my parents, but there is something they didn’t do well for me as a kid….
They didn’t really teach me how to cook.
Now, this isn’t necessarily their fault… neither one was a great chef or particularly enjoyed cooking themselves. Convenience and mass amounts of food were the priority, not fancy kitchen experiments that their picky eating kids may or may not even eat.
Practicality won over in the meal department.
As a kid, that was fine by me!
Thankfully, my husband cooks amazing meals for our family so I don’t have to stress about it!
But, I want better for our kids! I want them to love experimenting in the kitchen, and not be intimidated by cooking and baking techniques, various utensils, and appliances, or foods!
That’s why I thought it would be fun to try out some kids cooking subscription and kids cooking kits!
The kits will teach them how to make yummy foods and learn new kitchen skills at the same time.
Seems like a win for me too, since we homeschool and the culinary arts are not my strong suit.
P.S. If you want some great kids cooking courses, I love the ones by Kids Cook Real Food like:
