Josh’s mom left yesterday, early, and we would just like to dedicate a blog to her and all of her help! It made the first two weeks at home much easier. I was able to get some very needed sleep so I could recover faster from surgery, and so Josh could get some sleep as he still had homework and interviews.
She and Josh surprised me and bought me flowers one day. (So pretty!) She took care of laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking. She made sure I was getting healthy (and non-healthy), calorie-filled foods since I am a nursing mom. She fixed our vacuum. She watched the girls so Josh and I could have a moment to ourselves. She ran us around places, bought the girls some cute clothes, and framed and hung my art in the girl’s room, and helped me make their names…
But, most importantly, she gave lots of loving to Lisa and Alison, changing their diapers, rocking them to sleep, again and again. Thank you Susan Fagan for all the time, love, and care you took to come out and visit. We really appreciate it. And thanks Brent for loaning your wife to us. We thank you for that.
