We went to the doctor’s today for our girls well-baby check-up. They are doing very well, minus some nasty diaper rash on Lisa (neosporin is what you’re supposed to use. Never knew that!) and talked to her about the bump/cyst on Alison’s nose. We have some tall, skinny girls.
Height: 29.5″ (50-75% range)
Weight: 19.88lbs (19lbs 13oz) – 30.82%
Height: 29.25″ (50-75% range)
Weight : 20.75lbs (20lbs 12oz) 45.82%
With our girls now over 29″ in height, it means they have officially outgrown their infant car seats and it is time to upgrade to the convertible ones. We should be getting some new ones soon thanks to our local fire department and the fact that we are on government assistance. What a blessing!
The girls also received 3 shots today and a finger print to check for anemia (both fine though Alison was on the lower side) and for lead (that will take a few days to check). I hate it when they get shots. It seriously breaks my heart. Alison has such a sad sad cry, and Lisa does the silent cry which is heart-wrenching too. Josh and I both wanted to cry with them. Poor things. It’s all for the better though.
