Want to take a look inside a Noobie Box? Then scroll down to check out my Noobie Box review of my April 2018 Noobie baby box.
Like many people, I love free samples and free stuff. Especially if it’s for stuff you actually want and will use.
There seem to be loads of free samples and freebies out there for pregnant moms and new moms. I’ve gotten all of the following:
Plus, there are many free pregnancy samples that come along with a Walmart Baby Registry (and other registries). Some really are free and don’t charge shipping and handling fees and others do charge a small fee.
I recently heard about the Noobie box and wanted to see what they offer.
Noobie Box is a free pregnancy gift box for moms-to-be, filled with samples & their Noobie Guide with information and offers.
The free Noobie Box is a one-time gift and not a subscription. You can request one box per mom-to-be per year. You have to register with their website in order to receive a free pregnancy box and the box content varies.
How to Get a Noobie Box
In order to get a box, you need to fill out a little questionnaire where they ask for your date of birth, the highest level of education you’ve completed, what your race/ethnicity is, and if you have other children.
You, of course, have to accept their terms of service which includes being aware that Noobie Box’s partners may reach out with additional information and offers (aka you may be added to their mailing lists).
They also ask how you heard about Noobie Box.
Upon ordering a Noobie Box, you agree to the following restrictions:
- You are only allowed to order a Box if you are pregnant or your spouse or partner is pregnant
- Only one Noobie Box may be ordered by you or your spouse or partner per pregnancy
- Only one Noobie Box may be ordered per address.
The contents of each Noobie Box varies and they make no guarantees that you will receive a particular product in a Box or that certain products will be available in your Box.
Many of their suppliers’ products come in limited quantities and may not be available in the future.
It is your responsibility to review the ingredients of each product to avoid allergic reactions or other side effects. The products within the Boxes are not manufactured by Noobie, but rather by Noobie’s suppliers.
Likewise, any information contained in a Box has been supplied by Noobie’s suppliers; it is provided as an information resource only and is not intended or implied to be a substitute for professional medical advice.
If you have any questions or complaints about a product or information provided, please contact them at email@example.com.
As the Box is a free box, there will be no returns or refunds.
However, they charge you $6.95 for standard shipping, 7-10 business days, which you pay with a credit card or with Paypal.
I ordered my April Noobie Box on April 5, 2018, and received my box on April 10, 2018.

Noobie Box Review
In my April Noobie Box 2018 I received the following items:
- 2 Lansinoh disposable breast pads
- 2 Lansinoh breastmilk storage bags
- 1 package of 10 Waterwipes baby wipes
- Aquaphor Advanced Therapy diaper rash ointment
- 1 Bessie’s Best Lactation Cookies – Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip flavored
- 1 Purell Professional Surface Disinfectant
- 1 Mam bottle
- 1 Mam pacifier
Honestly, for $6.95 I didn’t feel like this was a great value. The only really “costly” item I received was the baby bottle, but I’m not going to use it as I breastfeed.
I did eat the lactation cookie one day, and it was tasty, and I’m not sure it helped my supply (but I ate it when I was sick and felt like my supply may be a bit lower, so it was cool to have it on hand).
And I haven’t used the breast pads or storage bags, but I guess I have them if I need them (but I don’t usually pump or leak).
I have also used Aquaphor diaper ointment before and think it’s kinda runny and does an okay job. My baby is just breastfed for now so she doesn’t usually need ointment during changes. The size IS good to fit into a purse or diaper bag without weighing it down though which is a nice perk.
A surface sanitizer is something I will likely never remember to use.
So, overall I got to eat a cookie and wipe a baby butt for 2-3 diaper changes for essentially $7.
However, as I look at other Noobie Box reviews, I see some have contained entire outfits and other clothing and other products that do look like they have a value and use above $7. Again, each box is different and there are no guarantees with it. If you don’t mind the small gamble (or have friends you could gift the stuff you don’t like/want to) you can sign up to receive your own Noobie Box HERE.
If you receive one, let me know what you get and if you think it is worth the shipping and handling fees or not!
And then be sure to check out the other free baby boxes you can receive that I mentioned above. I think they are both worth it!
