I must love these vanity posts…. Anyways, after I posted about taaz.com and needing some hairstyle advice, I decided that when I chopped off my locks I would keep it slightly longer… instead of super short. Primary reason being that I don’t want to run to the hair salon every 6 weeks. I’m more like an every 6 months kind of hair salon visitor, if I’m lucky. I just don’t have the time or money to do that regularly.
Here is what my hair looked like before I cut it:
Long! Most days I put it up in a ponytail, sometimes a braid or two, and on days I did wear it down, it never seemed to looked like I wanted it to (wavy and pretty). I didn’t like that when I laid down, I laid down on my hair, causing me to adjust all the time. I didn’t like that the girls like playing and pulling on it occasionally. I was very ready to chop it off! So it was without hesitation, but excitement (for Josh too, as he was sick of hearing me complaining about it) that I went to Great Clips to get it cut (which I had a coupon for. I’m so cheap sometimes).
Thanks to your input, I decided to go with a cut that was more like #1 but also like #2, intending to grow out my bangs. Here is what I received:
I love it! Short, layered, cute, fun, and easy! I can blow dry it or let it be a little wavy. I can even still put it up in a small ponytail. It’s so much lighter and better. But, what do you think? Like it?
