Josh has a great collection of music, most of which I like as well. Marrying him exposed me to all sorts of wonderful music, not to mention occasionally being sung to by an *almost* vocal performance major.
One song I absolutely love that reminds me of Josh and I in many ways is Danny’s Song by Loggins and Messina. LOVE this song and I love when he sings it or when I sing. It gets me all emotional. Even though we ain’t got money, I’m so in love with you honey!
You can listen to it by watching the video below:
Another favorite of mine that reminds me of Josh is Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. This one reminds me of Josh because he’s just so sweet on me. And sometimes I don’t think I realize just how much he loves me.
And then of course theirs our wedding song, Such Great Heights by Iron & Wine:
We liked this song because Josh and I have corresponding moles on our hands and faces. We’re like mirror images with them.
If you look close, you’ll see a small mole on the left side of my nose by my nostril and in the middle of my right cheek. On Josh you’ll see a small mole on the right side of his nose by his nostril and one in the middle of his left cheek.
And when Josh holds my right hand with his left, we have moles that will line up perfectly together, mirroring each other.
So while we don’t have “freckles in our eyes” that are mirror images, we do have “freckles” that are. It was this silly reason that it became our wedding song. Plus, it’s cute.
