*I received a free small fruits and vegetable bin from Green Bean Delivery for the purpose of this review. Opinions are my own.*
Everybody has that adult responsibility that they hate doing, whether it’s folding the laundry, doing the dishes, paying bills, or taking out the trash. The one thing I hate doing is grocery shopping. Seriously. Even though my kids are (generally) fairly well-behaved, I just hate getting everyone in the car, finding everything I need, and then forking over $80+ (with coupons), to realize upon getting home that I still have nothing to eat, and I still don’t want to cook (my other least favorite adult responsibility). It’s just depressing. I often fantasize about groceries being delivered right to my door….
And surprise! You can totally have groceries and produce delivered to your door thanks to Green BEAN Delivery!
Green Bean Delivery is a year-round food delivery service that brings the freshest local and organic produce, and natural groceries, right to your doorstep weekly or bi-weekly! Now, I’m not exactly a health-nut, but I like to pretend that I am. I don’t usually buy organic produce from the store but sometimes I do if it’s at a good price or on the “dirty dozen” list. But, no matter what produce I buy, it can run out quickly, especially favorite fruits (bananas, apples, and blueberries). So, to be able to regularly restock my home with fresh produce without having to run to the store is pretty great.
In our small fruits and vegetables produce box (which comes insulated with a freezer pack), we received cauliflower, lettuce, celery, grape tomatoes, apples, pears, mangoes, broccoli, an onion, and blueberries. Everything we’ve eaten has been pretty delicious so far. All of this produce is only $35 delivered to our door. I hear that the prices are comparable to the organic produce you can buy in store, but I’m including my invoice list so you can compare them for yourself. But, fresh local organic produce is only one of the things Green BEAN delivers (I only received a small produce bin to sample, however). You can also add on all sorts of other healthful groceries like chicken, bacon, steaks, sausage, tofu, salmon, bison, ham, eggs, milk, honey, almonds, couscous, energy chunks, peas, lentils, trail mix, granola, preserves, coffee, cheese, bread, popcorn, cereal, and much more! The selection and specials change monthly based on what is in season, but it’s all organic and natural foods!
