A while ago I shared information about the new White Cloud laundry detergent line available at Walmart (along with the rest of the White Cloud family of premium brand household products) so I am thrilled to actually test it out for myself! I am never opposed to challenges and White Cloud is asking everyone to “Dare to Compare” so I am!
In less than six months of launching White Cloud’s new Laundry Detergent, a leading consumer magazine has already named White Cloud Laundry Detergent as #1 in value and #6 in cleaning. That is probably because of the the 3-in-1 Micro Clean Technology that helps White Cloud Laundry Detergent get out even the toughest stains. Composed of an enzyme-based formula, this 3-in-1 Micro Clean Technology contains a pre-treater, stain remover, and color booster all in one.
With the weather warming up and the April showers (and May showers) bringing lots of wetness, my daughters have been especially great at playing in the mud and having that mud and grass stained in the knees and bums of their leggings and pants and skirts. I hate it because stains on clothes impact the longevity of clothing and of course I want my kids clothes to last a long time. Luckily for moms everywhere White Cloud Laundry Detergent boasts it is the best ammunition they have at removing the toughest grass stains.
So I took it to the test!
My Dare to Compare Test
My daughter wore her white and pink stripped leggings outside to play and got the bum of the pants covered in mud and dirt, and got a grass stain on one of the knees. They were in need of a good cleaning.
Here’s the front side and the back (complete with a new hole):
I poured in the blue-colored, Blooming Lavender scented, White Cloud laundry detergent into my top loading washing machine. The scent is nice and light and is a great fresh spring smell.
I then added the leggings (and a few extra things) into a small cold wash.
After the cycle, I pulled them out and analyzed the stains while still wet. The bum looked much better, but still had a slight yellow tint to it. The grass stain was still somewhat there as well.
So, I poured some of the White Cloud laundry detergent directly on to the areas and rubbed them in just a little and let them sit for a few minutes, and then ran the cycle again.
When I normally wash clothes I use a laundry detergent booster along with my regular detergent, and still often have to put the more heavily stained items through a second-time (or third or fourth), even with a pre-treatment spray, or even with pre-washing the area before the initial wash. So, it didn’t bother me to have to put it through a second time.
And after the second wash it looked good enough, so I threw it in the dryer. And now that it’s dry I have to say the white looks bright and the dirt on the bum is completely gone. There’s only a tiny, light mark where the grass stain on the knee once was. What do you think of the results?
I’m happy! Because, honestly, my regular detergent likely wouldn’t have done nearly as well, and that’s WITH additional pre-treatments and detergent boosters! That’s the great thing about White Cloud! It’s 3-in-1!
Are you going to try it? Do you dare to compare White Cloud to your detergent? Let me know if you do and what you think!
