MATERNITY CLOTHES

Maternity clothes reviews and resources for Pregnant Moms

When it comes to buying maternity clothes, there are really not that many options and it can be totally frustrating.

Some people, of course, can get away with just sizing up their pants or tops and not have to buy true maternity clothes. That’s awesome if that is you! Save yourself the cash and aggravation!

Some just wear their boyfriend’s or husband’s oversized shirts and pants.

Do whatever is comfortable for you and cheapest!  Pregnancy is so short so it is not worth investing in an entire new wardrobe.

Get yourself some staples from one of the retailers below, and then rotate through them every week or week and a half.

For the first trimester, postpone buying new pants by using a rubber band to secure your jeans, wear stretchy sweat pants, or pick up a Belly Button Band (use code FAGANS40 to get one for free).

Look for pieces that will transition well into postpartum clothes or nursing clothes too.

There are many department stores that carry maternity clothes in-store and online. They include the following:

  1. Target
  2. Walmart
  3. Kohl’s
  4. Macy’s
  5. Destination Maternity
  6. Motherhood Maternity
  7. A Pea in the Pod Maternity
  8. Burlington
  9. H & M
  10. JCPenney
  11. Kmart
  12. Old Navy
  13. Gap
  14. Nordstrom
  15. Loft

It can be totally overwhelming sorting through everything on these sites and trying to find the best deals.

You can stalk Zulily.com for some daily discounts and deals on baby and maternity clothes.

There are some ways to get free maternity clothes as well as places to buy used maternity clothes.

Two great places online for secondhand maternity clothes are Swap.com and ThredUp.com. You can also check out places that rent maternity clothes.

Lastly, there are several maternity box subscriptions that make it easy for you to find great clothes, as they do all the shopping and styling for you! I have tried out a couple of these for maternity and/or nursing clothes with fun results. They tend to be more expensive, but not always!

Whether you like form-hugging or loose tops and pants, there are lots of great options out there for maternity clothes! I hope you can find affordable maternity clothes that will make you and your bump look fabulous!
