Fagan Family Photos 34 - Edit Blog

I have heard a lot of people bemoan having three kids, claiming it is the hardest number to have. But, for me, adding a male singleton three years after having twin girls was like a walk in the park! I adored having my baby and my twin three year olds. The newborn phase was a breeze in comparison to the whirlwind ride I had my first go around! So, I was pretty optimistic about what adding a fourth would mean to our family.Baby number four is now seven months old, our third girl, and we all adore her chunky, smiling, easy-going self. Why Do Moms Obsess About this One Big Thing?

The Arrival of Lisa and Alison

rp_Birth-003.JPG

We went to the hospital for our planned C-section to have our little girls delivered. I was 37 Weeks and 6 days pregnant, large, and ready to meet the babies I've been feeling move around for the last several months. We arrived at the hospital, did some paper work, and then I was taken to the labor and delivery room. I put on my oh so fashionable gown, had some blood drawn and an IV put in (which hurts a lot) and was hooked up to the fetal monitors. However, the nurses couldn't find the second baby's heartbeat. She kept looking for it, and had the other nurse look, had a doctor look for it, and then they had an ultrasound ...
