I will try this out! It's a new streaming video site that offers filtered movies legally. And for just $1 a day! This blogger loved it in this review.

Do you remember that company called CleanFlicks? Maybe you do, maybe you don't. They were a company that took popular Hollywood films and edited out inappropriate content and then sold and rented them to the general public. However, a judge deemed that violated copyright laws and they were forced to shut down. I happened to live in Provo, Utah as I was attending Brigham Young University, shortly after the ruling happened (CleanFlicks was based in Utah). I remember some local movie rental store was going out of business and selling (for cheap) all their copies of these edited films. My friends and I checked it out and I bought ...

Instill These 10 Qualities of a Princess in Your Daughter; Princess Costumes Required

This post likely contains affiliate links which may earn me commissions should you click through them and take certain actions.

Such a cute list of Princess qualities and characteristics! Love the idea of taking my girls to Princess school, Disney style, with princess costumes! #DisneyBeauties #shop #cbias

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. #CollectiveBias and its advertiser #DisneyBeauties. All opinions about Princess qualities are mine alone. My four year old daughters always pretend to be princesses and absolutely love dressing up in princess costumes. Disney's Sleeping Beauty was recently released from the Disney vault, so I picked up a copy of the Diamond Edition Sleeping Beauty Blu-Ray/DVD Combo pack from Walmart. Halloween is coming up soon too, so we picked up some fun Disney Princess costumes at Walmart while we were there. My daughters love their new dresses and crowns and camera. It was really hard ...

Celebrate the Sleeping Beauty DVD Release from the Vault!

This post likely contains affiliate links which may earn me commissions should you click through them and take certain actions.

I am so excited that Sleeping Beauty is coming out of the vault on October 11, 2014! Can't wait to get the Sleeping Beauty DVD!

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. #CollectiveBias and its advertiser #DisneyBeauties. All opinions are mine alone.  With twin daughters, wanting to be pink, frilly, and a princess, is a very real thing around my house. While I'm not one to encourage such things, I'm not really trying to discourage it either. I say, let them love pink, feminine things! My daughters pretty much wear skirts every single day, and love dresses (although one really does love her sweat pants and sweat shirts too!). However, to celebrate the release of the Sleeping Beauty DVD from the Walt Disney Vault, they will definitely be ...

Fun Ways to Introduce Farm Animals to Kids

Today's post is sponsored by I See Me! thanks to Moms Affiliate and includes affiliate links. But all opinions are my own. Hee-Haw! Baaa! Moo! Animal sounds are just so much fun! Seriously. Even as an adult I love trying to make authentic animals noises, and really get into grunting and braying and cock-a-doodling. Okay, so maybe I'm a little goofy, but I love it. I love going all out for dumb things like animal noises. And my kids love it too. I have found that introducing farm animals to my kids has been one of the funnest experiences of motherhood. My husband and I love singing "Old McDonald had a farm" to the kids and let ...

Disney’s FROZEN: Anna’s Unconditional Love

Disney's FROZEN is really all about sisterly love - Anna love Elsa despite everything. #shop #cbias #FROZENFun| whatsupfagans.com

I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser #FROZENFun. However, all opinions are 100% my own. Over Christmas break, when I was visiting my brother Tyler, we all went out and watched Disney's FROZEN at the movie theater. And I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did everyone I went with. Afterwards I couldn't stop hearing about the movie, but especially the "Let It Go" song. It was everywhere, in more versions by more singers then a song only a few months old generally receives! It was awesome, and definitely ...

A Year of Dates – Month Three Date Nights

This post likely contains affiliate links which may earn me commissions should you click through them and take certain actions.

Date Night in and out each month

In case you missed it, I gave my husband a year of date nights for Christmas this last year.  Each month he has two planned dates ready for him - one is an at-home date night, and the other is a date night out.  He just has to pick the days to do them. March did indeed prove to be a busy month in our home with the arrival of a brand new baby.  So, these dates didn't happen until after March, but we did eventually do them! Month Three Date Night In For this month's date night in, we had a movie night, complete with popcorn, blankets on the floor, and a new movie rental from redbox.  Simple, but fun!  Especially since the ...

1. We went to the temple today, and that is why this is going out late.  But, it was another great trip to the temple.  The kids do remarkably well on the long two hour car trip down, even if Lisa said, "It's too far" on the way down.  I did an initiatory session and Josh did an endowment session.  2. Last Friday we went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert.  It was so much fun!  I loved being able to go on a real date with my husband.  Seriously, great!  Josh's parents wonderfully came up and watched our kids so we could go.  I even recognized one of the members from the Orchestra at Temple Square, a horn player I played with ...

Hakuna Matata or Our Singing Twins

This post likely contains affiliate links which may earn me commissions should you click through them and take certain actions.

What's cuter than one singing three year old? TWO of them. Love these singing twins videos.

Because I think my girls are adorable, I would like to share these videos with you. First up is Lisa and Alison singing a Hakuna Matata (from the Lion King) and ABCs Medley.  Listen for the good warble in their voice as they sing, the awesome eyebrow raises by Alison, and the frustration Alison feels at the end: Next we have a second go around of Hakuna Matata given to us by Lisa, completed with a "Lion Kiiiing" by Alison at the end. These girls love singing and for a while this was the song of choice.  But, they often just make up their own songs, complete with loud "vibratos" and nonsensical ramblings.  It's pretty ...

Have a Fun “Night in Paris” Themed Date Night

This post likely contains affiliate links which may earn me commissions should you click through them and take certain actions.

Great date night at home idea for my husband. Create a night in Paris, France with fun little touches, food, and French movies.

For Christmas I gave Josh 24 pre-planned dates for the year, 12 stay-at-home, 12 out.  For Valentine's Day we did one of the stay-at-home ones.  Since Paris is the City of Love, I did a Paris, France themed date night. I used a free date night kit I received from definitionoflove.com. *Update: This site is no longer up and running, I apologize! If you want France Themed date printables and ideas, grab the one from The Dating Divas - it's only $2.99 and totally adorable! It's part of their awesome Dating Divas' Around the World Year of Dates. It includes invites, love notes, ideas, recipe cards, and other printables and it's ...

24 Years Young

rp_july-2012-116.JPG

I, Katelyn, had a birthday!  I am now 24!  How fun!  Even though I am a year older, I still feel pretty young, even with Josh telling me that now I am officially in my "mid-twenties." I don't feel even a smidgen of a difference.  So, I took some pictures of myself on my "Big Day" so I could show off my big goofy smile in all its glory.  In our church ward, the end of July is apparently the time to be born with several people who have birthdays around the 28-31 of July, so we had a combined Birthday party to celebrate!  Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of all the Birthday girls.  We went to a park and had a good time.  Even my ...
