Since Sunday was Valentines day and we don't go shopping on Sundays I decided to get Katelyn some flowers on Friday instead. I actually got her and the little girls flowers...A pink rose for each of the girls and a red rose for Kate. We're poor so that was about all for Valentine's day other than making Kate baked French toast Sunday morning. Kate took some cool video of the girls going crazy in her belly, take a look...We also got a chance to go hang out with our pals, the Jastals. Brandon was part of the BYU Air Force ROTC Color Guard for the BYU Men's basketball game on Saturday. Since he was a part of this, they had some ...

What is in a name?

Shakespeare said, "What is in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell so sweet (Romeo and Juliet)." So, on Monday we had another doctor's appointment. I am now 26 weeks. The doctor measured my fundus, the top of my uterus, to show me how big I am measuring compared to a singleton mom. And at 25 1/2 weeks I was measuring at 31 weeks! Whoa! That's a 6 week difference! But, I certainly am feeling pretty big as I am now just over 160 lbs! The doctor told me to be really careful at this part in my pregnancy to not do anything too physical or strain myself since pre-term labor is a huge problem for moms having twins. In the next week or so I also get to drink a "sugar" drink and then get my blood drawn an hour later to see if ...

18 weeks pregnant with twin baby girls and contemplating the benefits of having twins first!

So, at the ultrasound, the technician, when first beginning was just kinda searching around, and we didn't know what we were looking at, but kept seeing two circles. Anyways, she asked, "Did you guys know you are having twins?" To which we said "What?? No!" And both of us started crying. Who wouldn't? So here are the pictures we got to keep from our appointment. Baby A was the lower one and Baby B was the higher one. Without future ado (we had to scan these in...) Here's our baby girls!! Baby A:   Baby B: And the baby bump pictures of me! 18 weeks and carrying TWINS! I've been thinking too of the benefits of ...
